It’s woof of the week!!!!.
This week we have the beautiful Rubia which translates to blonde in spanish, our little blonde girl with the beautiful clear sad looking brown eyes.
Rubia is a beautiful blonde mix breed female who we think is about 5/6 years old. She has been sterilised and currently shares a kennel with another dog. They get on well together so she could be rehomed with other dogs or on her own.
Rubia is a calm, sweet gentle girl. She is no problem whatsoever. In fact i would go as far as to say she is probably one of the best behaved dogs at the kennels, she isnt a scallywag like some of the others. She also never seems to be in any sort of rush. She will trott slowly to and from the play and before I close her kennel door she will always come to me for a reassuring stroke of the head and to be told she’s beautiful, which she is, i actually think its cause she just doesnt wanna go back in but she always does cause shes a good girl. Rubia isn’t a scared dog however she does lack confidence. She would need to get used to you before she came out of her shell which I don’t think can happen until she leaves the kennels. She has so much love to give she just needs to learn to trust you and know that she is safe. This would be so quick to happen if she found a warm loving home of her own outside of the kennel environment and I think together we can help find that for her.
She is a girl that breaks my heart, she always has such a sad look in her eyes whick you can see in the pictures so it would be lovely if we could together find this girl her furever home and her hooman who could give her all the love in the world and allow her to trust. She deserves it.
Rubia is now on diet food as she has got a little bit big….it happens to us all. Nothing that a diet and a bit of exercise can’t sort out.
Please please share this post.
Woofs and Paws and on behalf of Rubia thank you
