By donating, adopting, volunteering, or visiting, you agree to these terms which are designed to protect the welfare of our animals and the integrity of our rescue, as well as to comply with Spanish and European laws.

1. Donations

• We kindly accept donations of items that are clean, safe, and in good working order. We reserve the right to refuse any donations that do not meet our standards or may pose risks to animals or staff.

• When donating, please provide accurate details of the items and inform us of any access issues such as stairs or narrow entrances. Let us know if you can assist with moving the item; otherwise, our team will arrange collection.

• Donations are collected at agreed times. Paradise Kennels Rescue is not liable for any damages or injuries during collection or transport of donated goods.

• All donations are used exclusively to support the care and wellbeing of our animals.

2. Adoption Process

• Adoption applicants must complete our application process, including interviews and home visits, to ensure a suitable match for our animals.

• Adoption fees contribute to veterinary care (vaccinations, microchipping, neutering/spaying, health checks) and support ongoing rescue efforts.

• Adopters commit to providing lifelong care, including medical treatment and safe housing, and must notify us promptly if issues arise.

• Our policy requires that if an adoption does not succeed, the dog must be returned to Paradise Kennels Rescue. Rehoming or abandonment elsewhere is not permitted.

• While we make every effort to ensure the health and behaviour of our dogs, Paradise Kennels Rescue cannot be held liable for issues that arise after adoption.

3. Volunteer and Visitor Policies

• Volunteers and visitors agree to follow all safety rules and respect animal welfare guidelines while on our premises or during rescue activities.

• Confidentiality of personal data and sensitive information must be maintained at all times.

• Participation is at your own risk. Paradise Kennels Rescue is not responsible for injuries or damages outside of reasonable control.

• Access to certain areas may be restricted and supervised to ensure safety.

4. Animal Welfare and Care

• Paradise Kennels Rescue is committed to providing the highest standards of care, including regular veterinary treatment and behavioural assessments.

• The rescue retains full authority over decisions related to the health, placement, and wellbeing of animals in our care.

5. Liability and Indemnity

• Paradise Kennels Rescue limits liability for damages or injuries arising from donations, adoptions, volunteering, or visits except where caused by our negligence.

• Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paradise Kennels Rescue from claims arising from their own actions or failure to comply with these Terms.

• We do not accept liability for personal property loss or damage during visits or volunteer work.

6. Data Protection

• We comply fully with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection laws (Ley Orgánica 3/2018).

• Personal data collected is stored securely and used only for purposes related to rescue operations, adoption processing, and communication.

7. General Terms

• Paradise Kennels Rescue reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.

• These Terms are governed by Spanish law, specifically under the jurisdiction of Valencia.

• We encourage amicable resolution of disputes, and legal action should be considered only after alternative measures have been attempted.
