Nellie is a large Mastin mix, approximately 5–6 years old, and has been sterilised. Despite her size, Nellie is incredibly gentle, with the softest brown eyes and a unique little white patch on her right side that makes her even more endearing. She’s currently living in kennels, but it’s clear she would thrive so much more in a calm, patient home.

Nellie can be a little wary around people she doesn’t know, suggesting she may have had a difficult past. Because of this, she needs someone willing to take the time to earn her trust and build a strong, reassuring bond. She would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can grow in confidence and truly come out of her shell. One of her lovely quirks is her impeccable manners—while other dogs rush back to their kennels for food, Nellie patiently waits and only eats once her door is closed. She’s a special soul who’s just waiting for the right person to show her that the world can be kind.
