Meet Hugo – a big bear-like Mastin cross, just over a year old, and already stealing hearts with his oversized paws, floppy ears, and teddy bear charm.

Hugo was rescued from a dangerous roadside in Benferri alongside his brother. Underweight and scared, he’s since made an incredible transformation. Now, he’s thriving—full of playful energy, curiosity, and endless love to give.

This beautiful light-coloured boy is the definition of puppy joy. He’s a little clumsy on his long legs  and when he runs, his ears flap about like he’s trying to take off. He’s goofy, gentle, and ridiculously cuddly. His favourite things? Food, fuss, and being near you. In fact, the only reason we managed to snap a decent photo was while he was buried in his food bowl!

Despite being born into a life of uncertainty, Hugo is bursting with love and confidence. He adores people and gets on brilliantly with other dogs.

But Hugo’s never known life outside the kennel. He deserves a soft bed, new adventures, and a family who’ll show him just how wonderful the world can be.

Let’s not let this boy grow up behind bars.
