Meet Esme, a beautiful, medium-sized mixed breed girl with stunning colouring and a gentle soul. Estimated to be around 4–5 years old and already sterilised, Esme is ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.

She may not be the biggest fan of the camera, but once she realised the photos were to help her find a family, she quickly warmed up and became curious about what was going on — a lovely reflection of her sweet, trusting nature. Esme absolutely loves a cuddle and has a calm, affectionate presence that makes her a joy to be around.

When she first arrived, Esme and her kennel mate weren’t too sure about venturing into the play area. Instead, she preferred to “help” with the cleaning — usually by sitting in the freshly made bed as blankets were being arranged! But now, with growing confidence, she’s the first out the door, running straight into the play area with her friend, splashing in the water and enjoying a good game with a plastic bottle.

Esme is a happy, easygoing girl who doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, a bit of fun, and a place to belong. She gets along with other dogs, so could happily join a home with canine companions, or be equally content soaking up all the attention as the centre of someone’s world.
