Dan came into the shelter in July 2023, just a few weeks old, alongside his sister Doris. Like her, he’s spent his entire puppyhood at the shelter, growing up in a world that, while safe, has never offered the comforts of a real home.
Though he started out shy, Dan is the more confident of the two. He’s still nervous in new situations, but he’s also curious and eager to engage when given the chance. Every day, he shows signs that he’s ready to explore life beyond the shelter walls.
With the right environment – one filled with patience, routine, and gentle encouragement – Dan will quickly come into his own. He’s never known life outside the shelter. Could you be the one to show him what he’s been missing?
