Say hello to Milo – our big, brindle beauty who’s still waiting for his happily ever after. At around 2 years old, Milo is a brown and white Galgo boy with a heart as big as his frame. Despite only recently arriving at the main kennels, he’s already left a huge impression on everyone here.
Milo is a true gentle giant. He’s calm, sweet-natured, and incredibly friendly – the kind of dog who instantly makes you feel at ease. There’s no fear in him, which is nothing short of a miracle considering he was surrendered by a hunter. He’s confident, loves a cuddle, and is always happy to be close to people. He even let me take a selfie with him not long after meeting him!
He currently shares a kennel with a known biscuit thief, but Milo himself is pure gold – no trouble at all. He gets along brilliantly with other dogs and seems to have settled in well. Despite his size, he’s soft and gentle and hasn’t picked up any bad habits (yet – we’re watching you, biscuit stealer).
It’s also worth noting that Milo is in surprisingly good condition. He’s already been castrated and has no obvious marks or scars, which can be rare for a dog with his background. He’s playful too – when I tossed a couple of octopus toys into the kennel, he was keen, but let the others grab them first. A true gentleman through and through.
Over the past few months, we’ve really come to know and love this big softy. He’s always waiting with a waggy tail, and we just know there’s a perfect family out there who will adore him as much as we do.
Could that be you? Could you give Milo the safe, loving home he so deserves? Let’s help this gorgeous boy start the next chapter of his life, full of toys, comfort, and kindness.
