Fiyero, affectionately known as Prince Fiyero, hasn’t been at Paradise Rescue Kennels long, but he’s already managed to steal hearts—including mine. With his striking brindle coat, calm demeanour, and those soulful eyes, he’s impossible not to fall for.

He’s a big, soft-hearted Galgo—around 4 to 5 years old—who carries himself with a quiet elegance. Friendly, affectionate, and gentle, he’s got all the makings of a perfect companion. Fiyero walks beautifully on the lead, gets along well with other dogs, and is currently sharing a kennel with three others—getting on with everyone like a true gentleman.

There’s no hint of nervousness in him. He’s confident, people-friendly, and dog-social. He’s always one of the first to greet me in the morning, with his waggy tail and that long, wet nose pushed against the fence, watching my every move as if to say, “What’s next? Is it my turn yet?”

He did give the phone a bit of a side-eye the first time I tried to take his photo—clearly not familiar with posing for the camera—but he quickly got the hang of it. He’s got model potential for sure. Vogue, take note.

Fiyero is craving love and attention, and it’s time this beautiful boy got a home where he can finally be treated like the prince he is. Whether that’s in a home with other dogs or as your one-and-only, he’ll thrive with kindness and companionship.
