Meet Candy, a sweet, brown-eyed brindle Galga with a gentle soul and plenty of love to give. At around 3 years old, Candy is still very young and has her whole future ahead of her. She may be small in size, but she’s full of character—and absolutely beautiful, with her striking brindle colouring and soft expression that melts hearts.

Candy is an easy girl to please. Her favourite toy is an empty plastic bottle, which she proudly carries around the play area every morning. She also loves to tease and play with her kennel friends before heading back inside for her breakfast and a well-deserved nap. Like any young Galgo, she has bursts of energy, but once that’s out of her system, she’s happiest stretched out in the sunshine for a snooze. One thing she doesn’t enjoy, however, is the rain—she’ll watch from under cover with her nose poking out, but won’t risk getting her paws wet!

She walks nicely on the lead and gets along well with other dogs. While Candy isn’t the most confident girl just yet, she has already shown how much potential she has. With time, patience, and love in a home of her own, she is sure to flourish and show her sweet personality even more.
